Calligraphy Qalam: An Introduction to Arabic, Persian and Ottoman Calligraphy uses interactive tools to interest new audiences in the traditional art forms of Arabic, Ottoman and Persian calligraphy.

This Koranic fragment includes verses 85-88 of the 3rd chapter of the Koran entitled al 'Imran (the Family of 'Imran). Between each horizontal line of Arabic text appear diagonal word-by-word translations into Persian.
