I can get you the paper I use for calligraphy. I sell normal white calligraphy paper at $10.00 per 100 sheets, or hand-dyed cream-colored callig paper at $0.60USD per sheet.

    Goodday,

Thank you for your reply. I can dye the papers myself also, I am looking for a smooth, coated, and slightly reflective paper (in Turkish: Kuse Kagidi/Mat Kuse Kagidi). Do you have any sites you may want to give me to help me out?

    Thank you

    Hi Huseyin Atesci,
Here is some information about the paper calligrapher Elinor Aishah Holland uses (primarily for practice rather than finished pieces):
Mohawk 50/10 Matte Plus Soft White (product number MO507-35SWP)

it is available from: Paterson Papers, 973-278-2410, http://www.patersonpaper.com

    Hi All,

I tried to get ekvernens suggested mohawk paper. Paterson Papers told me that Mohawk discontinued this product.

Couldn't we collect product numbers here which you have experience and work well for calligraphy. Ideally coated and cream colored like ekvernens suggestion.

    Thanks

Thanks, good idea Jgoethe. I'll see if I can get some additional info on papers that would work well.

Apparently this paper is now out of production, but there may be paper distributors that still stock the Mohawk 50/10. I'll get back to you if I hear of any specific places, but you could try calling around to paper distributors, or asking Mohawk what their replacement stock would be.

Patterson is out, and the mill stopped production. Patterson has just sent me their swatch books so i'm going to go through and try and find an alternative. Nothing with that warm color in the books, though. Will keep you all posted.

Could you please keep us updated?

Also help from Europe is appreciated! I wouldn't mind orderin in the USA, but I suppose it is going to be more complicated.

Still finding the right product should be the goal!

    Thank you all

There is the Roumi Art Institute in Holland which sells calligraphy and ebru supplies. They sell a type of glossy calligraphy paper although I'm not sure how good it is.I've never tried it nor do I need to.Here is the link (http://www.roumi.nl/).They also provide calligraphy and ebru classes as well.
