how do I spell Grandad in turkish Arabic

    Hi Clare,
    When you say turkish Arabic... what exactly do you mean? It could go a couple of ways, I guess.
    Turkish - Grandad= Buyukbaba
    Arabic - Jid = جد
    They're two very separate languages.
    Or did you mean Ottoman (Turkish+Persian+Arabic, written in Arabic script.)

    Sorry, I don't know Ottoman. There are some online dictionaries, that may send you in the right direction. Sorry!
