  1. Salam,
I'm conducting research on Islamic calligraphy in Southeast Asia, and looking for book, articles and other sources on the topic. Especially on the influence and relation between Persian or Ottoman caliphate to Islamic kingdoms in Southeast Asia. Anyone can help me? Thanks and Salams.

  2. Hello Aliakbar,
Welcome to the CalligraphyQalam.com forum! Your question reminded me of an article I read recently in Saudi Aramco World's magazine, about Chinese calligraphy. It was written by Lucien de Guise (luciendeguise@yahoo.com), who is the acting head curator of the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. I would recommend contacting him for ideas on further resources.
Let us know how your study progresses, I'd love to hear the results!
    Sincerely,
    Elisabeth
