I am looking for a high quality copy of the Holy Quran, ideally an e-copy. The copy needs to be written in Naskh or Thuluth and I need to be able to print this so I can then provide a high quality copy for a gift for a friend.

I am not sure if there are copies available as I found this found this website in the process of searching for a copy.

Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated, either information or pointing me in the right direction of where I could find a version.

    Many thanks in advance.

  2. Hmm... the Walters Art Gallery has several high-quality digital versions of the Quran. You can find these manuscripts at http://issuu.com/the-walters-art-museum - Good luck!

    Thanks, that's great.

I have been trying to post this for a while - but kept on getting error messages so please ignore all my other requests.

Is there anything in the Middle East?

I have heard of Khalid Al-Saai as an extremely reputable calligrapher?

  5. Hi Charles,
Yes you can easily get a hand-written copy of the Qur'an. But it will be very expensive. Have a look here for an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ANTIQUE-MANUSCRIPT-QURAN-/230487807928?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35aa24d7b8

The following website contains everything regarding the Islam. There you can read and listen Quran and translation in optional six other languages placed side by side with the Arabic text. Marvelous effort indeed.
The best way is to read and understand the Quran in Arabic text, because the Arabic text are the words of Allah !
