Xi’an calligraphy

The calligraphy pieces below were seen in a shop near the Grand Mosque in Xi’an, China. They are written in the Arabic script, but reflect a distinctly Chinese aesthetic (particularly the two on the left).

Haji Noor Deen Mi Guanjiang is one of the best and well known artist of Chines Calligraphy in islamic art. His works are shown in the britshmuseum ……

I agree, Haji Noor Deen is an amazing artist. I plan to do a feature on him soon…

I also agree that Haji Noor Deen is a fabulous artist and his Calligraphy in islamic art is Amazing….
